What made you apply for the Master Course “Teaching Intersectional Gender, Sexuality, Ethnicity and Equality” at Tema Genus?
I saw a flyer about the Master Course and when I checked the website I got curious. I had never studied anything like this before. It seemed to me like a whole new world.

What do you find the most interesting about this Master Course?
It offers broad perspectives and enables me to see connections, for example, it is so easy to say that one’s career success depends only on the individual, but there is a lot more to it because gender, sexuality, race, or things like where you were born, how you were raised, and your socio-economical background all play a role in it. These societal forces intersect with one another in a way that generates great impact on the individual and her or his success.
I also enjoyed the intense face-to-face weeks!

What do you think this Master Course will give you in the future?
The course has really trained my analytical skills and broadened my approaches. In the future I will try to develop more balanced leadership style and promote gender equality in organizations, or maybe use the knowledge in business research.

Stimulating, nurturing and fun!
