Short course description:
The course addresses:
- historiographies of Intersectional Gender Studies in local and transnational perspectives;
- the emergence of Intersectional Gender Studies as a multi-, inter-, trans- and postdisciplinary field of inquiry, embedded in cross-disciplinary dialogues and critical interventions in both human, social, medical, technical and natural science disciplines;
- different branches of feminist theorizing, for example queerfeminism, postcolonial and anti-racist feminism, cyberfeminism, cyborgfeminism, sexual difference feminism, radical feminism, historical materialist feminism, feminist materialism, posthumanist feminism and profeminist and critical studies of men;
- different feminist epistemologies, ontologies and ethics.
The course is examined through active participation in onlineseminars and -workshops and through continuous written individual assignments, submitted online.
