Spectatorship and body political narratives in welfare state health propaganda
This is a pilot project discussing the ignificance of spectatorship in the government’s commission for aids and hiv protection and their public posters during the 1980’s. The posters and expected gazes are read through an assemblage of affections/fantasies and the welfare state’s contradictory expectations of the citizen/spectator.
