Visualizing private energy productions
The project is funded by Vinnova and is running 2011-2012. It is a cooperation project between Pike Solution AB (project leader), Interaktiva institutet, Trebax AB, Egen El i Stockholm AB and Studio Frankness AB.
In collaboration with end users, the project intends to design concepts and a functioning prototype (demonstrator) for visualization of private and consumer driven energy production (PeP). The target user group consists of people producing or wishing to produce electricity for their own household. The purpose of the demonstrator being designed is to enhance the user experience of producing ones own electricity. A subgoal is to create a decision support for users of e.g. private solar cells plants or wind turbines. The need for consumers to participate in an environmental change provides a market with a large potential for growth. The demonstrator will provide the basis for a quick introduction of services and products to the market. The project will further result in an expanded collaboration and exchange of competence between participating partners
