Heating customer choices and behaviour – previous research and future research needsand reserach for the future
This project runs from 1 June 2008 to 31 March 2009, and is funded by Svensk Fjärrvärme AB.
This project presents and discusses the social scientific knowledge that earlier research contributes in terms of how households select and use residential heating systems. The project will also offer a summary of the purposes and conclusions of previous studies. We will analyse the general patterns that have emerged regarding heating use in earlier research, and discuss the contributions of such research to the ways in which households choose and use heating systems. Knowledge gaps are being identified, and relevant research topics for the future are being discussed.
