I have a degree in recreation management and a teaching degree (Swedish, Swedish as a second language), and I have also read sociology (60 credits), pedagogy (20 credits), cultural geography (20 credits) and a law overview course (10 credits).
I was previously affiliated with the Department of Language and Culture (ISK), where I taught in the Cultural Studies Programme and in the Teachers’ Education Programme, and taught Swedish for guest students and graduate students at Linköping University.
I concluded my graduate studies (PhD 2004) in the Department of Technology and Social Change, where I am currently part of the “Technology, Everyday Life, Society” research group (TEVS).
I am currently also affiliated with the Centre for Man, Technology and Society (CMTS) in the capacity of manager, director of studies and teacher.

Technology and Social Change is an interdisciplinary research unit focusing on how social actors create and use technology, and how technical change is woven together with cultural patterns, daily life, politics, energy systems, learning, and the economy in history and society.
The objective for Tema - The Department of Thematic Studies is to pursue excellent research and education at undergraduate and advanced levels relevant to society.
