Madelene Ostwald is associate professor at the Department of Water and
Environmental Studies at Linköping University placed at the Centre of
Climate Science and Policy Research (CSPR) in Norrköping.

Research area

Research area is on land use, land-use change and forestry in relation to climate change and climate negotiations, with a focus on developing countries.

· REDDleaks: Carbon leakage in forest conservation and climate change mitigation

· Scrutinising the story of success of green enclosures from the 80s until today, West Pokot Kenya

· Land use and forests within international climate policy - global and local possibilities and risks
