Students with disabilities
Each University and higher education institution offers educational support to students with disabilities. The assessment of support that may be required is made individually, taking into account the student’s abilities and disabilities in relation to the curriculum of the studies chosen. The special needs students are entitled to the following services:
Support with note-taking by a fellow student, talking books, extra time during examination, alternative examination forms decided by the examiner.

Psychologist reception
The reception is driven by future psychologists. Students over 18 years are welcome and offered treatments are cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy. The treatment is usually individual regular conversations once per week. Some examples of problems that are treated are phobias, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, depression, sleeping problems and experienced relations problems.

Language support
The Academic English Support is open to all students at Linköping University. The aim is to help you improve your English language skills and make you more confident about using English for academic purposes. If you are working on a home exam, an essay, a thesis etcetera, you may contact them for help and advice on how to improve your text. They can also give you feedback and advice regarding oral presentations. They also offer seminars in academic writing in English.
